Kitchen Organization Made Easy
June 1st, 2010 | Author: SettmSpring is the perfect time to make a small kitchen organization “You would not believe the additional amount you can find room in their closets, drawers, fridge, freezer and pantry! Not only frees up more space, it feels good to do a little planning the kitchen. In fact, it would be good to organize the whole house, but we’ll just start cooking! take some time but do not feel obliged to do in one day. I spread mine over three or four days. In this way , do not take all day and does not seem so overwhelming.
Start your food cupboards and, or pantry. Take everything off the shelves and look for the final product. If expired, toss it. Do not try, do not use it. It is not, so just get rid of it and give it all at once. It ‘s like the sweater you bought on sale and is not worn one year … or never! The same thing applies here.
I suggest using a Sharpie marker and write the expiration date, in large letters on all the things that has not expired. So gather all the common elements. Pasta, beans, rice, cereals, cookies, pastries, jams, oils, sauces, etc., organize for the facade of the oldest and newest in the back. This way, you use them in order and do not run into the situation that is mentioned in the section above.
